This is lovely. I am gearing up for an article about terraforming for Futurism. Would I be able to use this picture?

Any tips on doing a space scene in Vue? I've only attempted in-atmosphere stuff. How do you get rid of the horizon?

well if you need to create a empty space scene - just set to zero sky, sky decay, haze and fog)
if you need to create an orbit scene, just move your camera up, behind sky values you set up. For example on 10km above surface. But you can just play with aerial perspective value and sky height to create such effect

I'm shocked this didn't come first, it's SIGNIFICANTLY more creative and epic than the first place winner (which is you ask me, almost any Vue user could replicate in an afternoon ) and even now I'm left wondering how you got that hurricane-like cloud formation around the tower (perhaps an image map, but even then it's all about getting it in the right place or not having heaps of others tiled all over the atmosphere lol ) the colours and lighting all look nice and natural too

Thanks!)))
Yeah, you're right - hurricane it's just a bitmap. I found a photo of hurricane, shoted from orbit and corrected it in Photoshop. Here's settings:

Here's some kind of new version of clouds)

Wow, that's a lot of settings, but it's nice of people to willingly share their knowledge like that, can really help other slearn new techniques the new version of clouds looks pretty cool too

Thanks, Davide-sd!
Well it was something about 2 weeks i think))
but right now i'm remaking this image. i'm already created much more realistic clouds and light and now modelling more detailed models))
here's one of test-renders
