DOWNLOAD FOR FULL VIEWFor the FMA-Addicts Club contest owo The theme was "Historic Alchemist". I chose to set this pic in the late 1700's 'cause I love pre-industrial revolution era clothes >3 They had awesome dresses back then.
Here we have Riza n' Roy, just dancing around in an empty ballroom as the sun sets. BECAUSE YES I SUPPORT ROYRIZA >w< Sorry to all you EdRoy, RoyHughes, HughesRiza, etc. fans
I'm pretty happy with how this turned out; moreso the lineart, color, and shading. I'm not all that pleased with the frills or my lacking ability to draw profile eyes. Hence the closed eyes ;D OHHH I'M A SNEAKY ONE. The textures were fun to do, too (:
This took...maybe 6-9 hours total? Maybe less, maybe more. I don't keep track of the time XD;
Layers used: 98....HOLY CRAP I USED 98. NEW RECORD BABY. NEW RECORD.
Sketched on paper with a pencil (NO. WAY.) and scanned into APCS2. Everything else was done in APCS2.
Any comments, favs, critiques, and redlines re greatly appreciated!

This is really pretty!I really like how you put so much attention on the background; it really give the picture a finished feel. I love the smudgy colouring as well; especially on her dress. <3 So pretty~

Sooo pretty! I said it before this was finished, I say it even more empatically now; YOU DESERVE TO WIN. This is soft, and lovely. The lighting is tasteful, and the colors are rich and yummy. I like how Roy and Riza are inclined slightly towards each other in this. Their positioning is amazing - there is a real sense of attraction and romance in this piece. Beeeeeeeyooooootiful.
