Watch opened the front door to Korina's home and walked in. The house seemed bare and empty as he walked to the living room. Everything was neat and tidy and looked as if no one had touched anything in weeks. It's been nearly a year since he'd last seen his family, his pups were nearly a year old last he saw them. "Korina?" He called. No response, as he walked through the living room to the kitchen. Not a sound could be heard and his ears lowered.
Until moments later he could hear laughing from the back door. He walked over and opened the back door to find his mate standing on the back porch. And in the snowy field of their backyard, his twin son and daughter running and chasing each other in the snow. Laughing and giggling as they pelted each other with snowballs.
Korina didn't notice her mate behind her until his arms wrapped around her from behind. "!! Well look who finally came home" she smirked slightly as she looked up at him as he hugged her. He chuckles as he kissed her forehead, "got caught up in a few things, you know how it is" he said as he held her tighter. "I know..." she replied, smiling at him. She turned her attention back to the twins and called to them, "Marshall! Copeland! Look whose home!".
Marshal's ears perked up as he turned to look at his mother, his eyes widened seeing his father. Copeland' tail wagged excitedly as she looked, "DADDY!!". They both raced across the snow to the back porch, and Watch kneeled down as they ran towards him, scooping them up in his arms. He laughed as he held them both close to him "I missed you both", he said nuzzling each of their foreheads. "We missed you too dad" marshal said, smiling softly at watch. "Are you gonna stay long?" Copeland asked looking up at watch, he can see the hope in her eyes of her wanting her father to stay this season. Watch turned his head to Korina, who was smiling down at them as they reunited with their father after so long.
Watch waited a few moments, looked down at Copeland and chuckled. "Yes princess, I'll be here till Christmas Day". "Yay!!" She cheered as she hugged him again, Marshall joined in on the hug, hugging their father tighter, laughing happily.
Korina chuckled as she opened the back door, "come on inside sweet peas, time to get in the bath". "Yes mama" Copeland and Marshall replied as they raced back in the house to escape the cold.
Korina turned her head to watch after they walk in, "Christmas Day, ur staying a full 3 weeks?" Watch smiled, being able to tell she was just as excited for his long term staying. Watch nodded and wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her in close to him. "You bet" he smirked as he pressed his lips to hers, kissing her softly.
