Description Ever since I heard that in the commentary on the season three boxset, Mae Whitman said that Katara and Aang did kiss in the Cave of Two Lovers, I wanted to make fanart of it. It's hard to get me inspired to do avatar fanart now, but this inspired me. I'm still missing Avatar so much :333

I started this yesterday and finished it this morning. I NEVER finish art that quickly, but I really loved this picture.

I made them kissing gently, not making out like my other kataang fanart. I wanted this to portray their first kiss in the cave.

I'm glad we finally have confirmation. Aang and Katara did kiss in the cave. That makes four times. That's KatAang: 4, ZuTara: 0.

You know, I haven't watched any Avatar episodes in a while... maybe I should fix that. Great drawing, BTW.

I know. I'm not sure how canon Mae Whitman's commentary is, but I think most people have come to a general agreement that they did kiss after hearing that.
