I am very sorry that I cannot thank you all for the faves, seeing as if I've had a recent jump in art popularity, which surprises me with awe, and I have so much school work to do and I'm gone 7 1/2 hours of the day and have strict rules in my life that prevent alot of things, so please forgive me, and I thank you guys for everything, the comments and the faves.

13th Warrior is half the story of 'Beowulf', Northern Mythology, and Arabian history.
The movie is about an arabian prince, who's send away to become a man and finds a group of northmen, who travell to a kingdom for helping the king. This kingdom gets attacked by monsters called 'Wendols', which are believed to be half human and half bears. So the prince and the warriors search for help and get a prophecy, which says they must be 13 warrior fighting against the wendols, but the 13th one must not be a northman. The group takes the prince(arabian!) as 13th warrior and one of the northman becomes the prince's best friend. Arrived at the kings palace the group sees the destruction the wendols have caused and get ready to fight.
So that's basically the story. I wont tell you how it ends unless you ask.

Yupp, beowulf was made as a movie twice till now, I think.
Ok, here's the rest of the story.
Ahmed (the prince) and the northmen find an empty house and look for the family, that used to live there. But the people had been brutally killed by the wendols, who took the heads (o.O) of the people. It's said they always do that and now the warriors have to find out why and how to get the wendols to kill them. So they ask a very old lady, who's supposed tp be a fortunetelller for help. She tells the group to search the wendols in the earth and that the groups captain has to kill the wendols captain and 'mother'.
Riddling about how to find the wendols and what their mother is, the wendols attack the town. A big (and cool
The end of the film is the good captains burial and Ahmed says goodbye to the group and his best friend (who, btw, always called him 'little brother'X3). Ahmed as become a man during fighting and living with the tough northmen and now travells back home to Arabia.
So, that's the story I guess. of course I left out some details, but I think my text is still pretty long. I think I told some stuff twice now or so.

i did see the recent Beowulf, the 3D CG one. it was pretty interesting. and i think i heard of the one called "beowulf and grendel" with gerard butler in it.

ok. there's this one scene where it's night in the feast hall in the village. beowulf's small possy of soldiers are there doing whatnot, and it's nighttime, and everyone goes to sleep. beowulf takes off all of his clothes and lays down on the stone floor. (throughout this whole scene, there's a comical amount of censorship) and then grendel comes, and beowulf fights him NAKED. yeah, beowulf's hopping and bouncing about the banisters fighting grendel in the nude.
all the censors are a combination of a nice sword placement. and some tables and other random things.
