I designed this years ago, and I felt this would be something I definitely would want at my side in a fantasy world.

Hi~! I was wondering if I could use your pics as references for a fanfiction I'm writing on Archive Of Our Own...? You will obviously get full credit if you agree, and if not, I won;t touch upon the subject at all afterwards! I've just been a huge fan of your art for a while now and I started writing fanfiction about three years ago... Not a good artist either and I can't buy adoptables or auction because my budget is always so tight... so with your permission, I would like to use your swords! as I said, if you don't agree, I will not hold any ill will against you!

I must know though, how'd you come by such skills in 3D? And what programs do you use?
I am dying to render my Ankhana in such a manner.

Thank you for your encouraging words sir. *nods* This blade is a 2D drawing which began in Windows Paint (believe it or not) which is then rendered and vectored Illustrator and then finally brought to life in Photoshop...the aim was to bring it as close as 3D as possible. I actually have an AA in graphic design but most of what drives the blade designs is nothing but passion and the freedom of the fantasy world.
If you are interested in rendering a design of yours; which in this case Ankhana, we could collaborate and get something going for you

The handle I cannot really see how it comes to 3D. Everything else I do. I hope my "buildup comment" is not taken as offence

The ultimate goal was to try to get the color scheme as consistant as possible. While the aim is primarily to bring life to a sword design with touches of 3D and special effects, at the time and even still in various other designs, a 3D effect for me has been a bit challenging. I would of course love to eventually learn to design them all using 3D programs.

black, smooth, deadly... perfection. it's like made of living dark water or liquid obsidian

The color black has been one of my favorite colors, since it the definition can vary, depending on the perspective; in this case the sword does draw on the aspect of myself of drawing in all around him, like a sponge, and not so much about remembering, but more about knowing more.
