Description early morning

Forming around 13,000 calendar years before present (almost 12,000 14C years before present), the Lake Agassiz came to cover much of Manitoba, western Ontario, northern Minnesota, eastern North Dakota, and Saskatchewan. At its greatest extent, it may have covered as much as 440,000 square kilometers, larger than any currently existing lake in the world (including the Caspian Sea). This is roughly the size of Iraq, the 58th largest country in the world, and larger than California, the third largest U.S. state, but smaller than the Yukon, the ninth largest Canadian territory or province.

yes indeed Ayhan, I think we all feel that way from time to time, here we call it DΓ©jΓ  vu

I hope you have a good weekend.

Thanks for your warm w,shes my friend...Wish you the same

WayneBenedet In reply to Hermetic-Wings [2009-02-07 15:49:04 +0000 UTC]

lol...

and here I thought that perhaps you would have a different word for it. English is so influenced by other languages, it is kind of sad really that we borrow all the time from French and other languages.

Any way, Ayhan, keep smiling and enjoy your time off... (assuming of course that you are off this weekend)

YEs Δ± am not working this weekend. Because I got cold and resting at home...
We say "Aynıyle vaki" but it s also not pure Turkish, it from Farisi language ( Iranian) and n- ost of us are awaare of the the tehm "De ja vu" because of the French influence of the times of Ottoman empires. Most of us are using those kind of phraises whem we thşnk thaht we speaking poliştely...lol...

WayneBenedet In reply to Hermetic-Wings [2009-02-07 16:44:14 +0000 UTC]

ah....

For some reason, this kind of stuff interests me. English does not have a phrase of its own. I would guess that most languages have some way of expressing this feeling, but so many have just borrowed. To me, I think it is a loss when a language does not have its own words, but in todays world, there is so much new technology and things being created, that borrowing is necessary I guess.

totally agree...
English people are not so particular at cooking for example so, bon apettite is also comşng from abroad...But Americans have it... They say "things go better wişth coke" ...lol...

WayneBenedet In reply to DarkUrban [2009-02-06 18:07:08 +0000 UTC]

no tricks Eugenio,

it was a foggy morning and I took pictures. processing was tricky in order to get good colour and saturation and not reduce the effects of the fog, because fog degrades the image
