This makes me think of "Devil's Chin" on St. Simons Island (which is gone, save for the memories!) It was a seriously secluded place in the woods which was not far from the beach. There were two wrecked cars, one of which was an old Thunderbird convertible and the other was so wrecked I couldn't identify it. I used to go there with friends or by myself to have fun.

When I was a teenager I used to know where every abandoned or junk vehicle was located within about a 30 mile radius of where I lived. I had designs on all of them 
There is something divine in the finding and appreciating of these old vehicles; thinking of what they looked like when they were newer fuels the imagination. Like you, I had not the ability or the means to restore any of the ones I collected and wound up selling many of the basketcases to the scrap-yard and others to restorers.

I kind of like it when people share the memories that come to mind. I think the idea of collecting these old ladies is a very neat thing, and I would probably do if I had the room to store them. I love old cars, I love how they look and feel especially when they are well restored, but I don't have ability or interest, as you know, to do it myself.
From my perspective, you may not have restored them yourself, but you still provided a valuable service to those who could.

When you stop deraming someth,ng they move from your way...Or oppositely, if you want to see something special your eyes would capture it from anywhere else... You are so good finding such abondonned cars or old farmhouses...We can get the daramtic or nostalgic feeling from everyshot that you take dear friend! Please keep on shooting them... I have one more shot of this guy I want to post. You might like that one also Kevin. You can see right inside the cab area. this one is taken in winter, so the front parts are all covered in snow.
