This piece was done as a B-Day present for .
This is a rendering of her WoW draenei, Ilsvett in a very non-WoW setting. There was a discussion in guild chat that ended up with me suggesting a drawing of her with a corvette that played on her name, Il's 'vette, and as a surprise for her birthday, I knocked out just that. This is also a double play here in that I have been threatening to render the very serious and reserved paladin in little to no clothing, so I took advantage of the modern elements in this one to put her in next to nothing.
Original pencil sketch if approximately 10" x 12". Line work cleaned up and color added in CS5.

You get mad props for using a CLASSIC style Stingray, and not the god-awful modern style cars that only pose as a Corvette.
And that is one HOT looking paladin! ^_^

I agree completely. The classic styles are the best and this was a no-brainer.
The whole idea was to put Ivy out of context, but keep the attitude we know her for. I just figured she would be a muscle car girl in this kind of setting.

Agreed, I have several. Ilsvett's just my main. All my character slots are maxed out with characters I RP and I have several that I also RP that exist on other servers and some that don't exist in game at all. Too many alts.

Yeah, I have a lot of characters on WoW from before I RPed there, and I really want to transfer them to RP servers because I can never motivate myself to actually level up a new character on a new server. Like I've always wanted to try out WRA, but when I get there, I'm just a low level character and I'm ignored. But anyway, I gotta have a pretty good idea of the character too before I make it, otherwise it's pointless. Oddly enough, I have tons of RP characters on SH that I still never RP.

I have a 70-something hordeside hunter on WrA. I really love the RP there, you can't go anywhere without tripping over RPers. If it weren't for Alahni, I probably would have abandoned Silver Hand for WrA. I didn't much care for Alliance side when I tried it out, but if you ever want to try Hordeside over there, I'd be happy to run you through some stuff.

I love the way it came out too. Hardest part was deciding what color to make the 'vette. The bright red was my first choice, but a golden yellow complimented the Blue skin and purple was just rad. Lol.
I was joking with Bindy that the clear give away that this was an alternate universe was not the big red car, but the little red smile.

Yeah, I had loads of fun doing this one and was pleasantly surprised I finished the whole thing in less than two days.
