One of my kitty angels then laid down in front of the empty bowl and started purring accusingly, getting louder every minute.Β Didn't know until I had Charly that a purr can sound accusingly.
On the other hand, bowls with kibble - there are plenty and one of them always is full. Special treats only after they went out in the garden (oh and you better don't forget them!!). canned food either in the morning or the evening aka when the bowl is empty (or in case of "what the hell is that? I'm not eating that!!" - when the food is older than 24 hours.)

Different vibes is fine, but accusingly purring? Don't think purrs where intended for that. After all they can growl, snarl, hiss and whatever else. They have quite the reportoire.
Water in a bowl is for washing the toys according to Candy. Both Candy and Teddy prefer the water out of the tap (fish pond is also fine, or buckets fullof rainwater)

I rarely see them in the bowl; Candy usually grabs them and throws them near me (whereever I am at that time), meowing/complaining that I should immediately dry her toy.
The hiss and growl happens here because Teddy likes to annoy Candy; and Candy is very good at both. Sometimes it would be more helpful if she actually hits her sister b/c then Teddy stops, tail tucked in and goes elsewhere.....

The kitties can go back to the bowl ten minutes after getting treats and they seem to think it has been days since they had any yummies!
