Do you ever see stories where there is a "long lost" someone? Long lost mother, long lost daughter, long lost sister.... well, in this case all three has happened. When I was only 18 I put up a child for adoption but after 48 years thought I would not have the opportunity to meet/see her. Well, via Ancestry .com and using a DNA test, Bethe, my biological daughter found my niece who, also, had put her DNA on Ancestry. Lo and behold the match came up that they were cousins with nearly 100% reliability for the results. My niece put two and two together and told Bethe I was probably her mother. In the last couple years Ohio has changed the laws to allow adoptees to petition for their birth certificates, so Bethe was able to verify the information. She is just weeks older than my niece and they both live in NC! The irony is that Bethe had gone to school, lived and worked nearby where I live now, and back then I would visit family in this area. It is entirely possible we crossed paths but had no idea! Bethe plans on visiting this summer

So, I'm Bethe's biological mother and she is my biological daughter ~ bethe515 ~ and Tina AreteEirene is her biological sister

My biological grandchildren: Corey is a high school senior attending college this fall and Camryn is 14 (and 5' 10") and a dancer.

I think so. Their grandmother has dementia and is nearly twenty-years older than I, so it has been difficult for them I'm sure. I could never replace their grandmother but it would be lovely to get to know them.
