Description Using Through Walt s Eyes 2 as the background, I took the challenge from Scouter2P to remove the two people in the picture. The picture is slightly rotated and the sky was recolored and the following brushes used:
Clouds by Wearwolfaa
Moon (from the brush set Moons, stars, sparkles) by Falln-Stock
Faerie Dust by rL-Brushes
Misty Paths by LoRdaNdRe

Using the clone tool, removed the people then did my best to clean up the edges where they were removed, since I only have PhotoShop Elements and not "real" PhotoShop. End result run through the magenta filter then the violet filter. Beveled frame added in PS El.

Thank you. I did not take the original photo, I just cleaned it up, took out two people and added clouds. The original photographer requested that the picture be redone, and I was happy to do it.

Do they hire you to do such photos?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

WDWParksGal In reply to dreameroftheblue [2011-07-11 06:42:03 +0000 UTC]

That would be a no. The castle picture is from another deviant that asked to have the people and wires removed from his original picture (the link is in the artist description under the deviation). After removing the people and wire using the clone-tool in PhotoShop Elements, I upped the saturation and used color hues to heighten the color of the picture and added the clouds. The photo has been totally manipulated while keeping the "real" elements.

A school in California spent $300 to print this off for a school display ~ I would love to see how it looked on the wall as it must have been huge!

O_O Three. Hundred. Dollars?! Holycrap. How long did it take?

WDWParksGal In reply to dreameroftheblue [2011-07-12 05:45:32 +0000 UTC]

I don't know... when the deviant let me know I commented back but she didn't let me know! I would love to know how big it was, how long it took to print and how it looked on the wall! I never thought a school or anyone for that matter, would care enough about my art to spend $300 to print something off!

wdwparksgal: We enlarged your beautiful photo of Sleeping Beauty Castle for a high school event (where my sons attend school in Los Angeles). We would like to see if we can sell it on e-bay (the enlargement cost $300) as we would like to give that money back to the school. Would you be OK if we did this? Thank you for your consideration and reply. Allison Ferraro, Los Angeles (Loyola High School)

How wonderful! That is SO exciting Do you have a picture of the display? I would love to see it! Of course you can sell it! Schools need every dime they can get these days. This particular picture is very popular and has been used on websites

I hope you use the dA account you made just to ask me!! I do have an email address similar to my dA account, wdwparksgal@gmail.com!!!

Check out our Disney Groups #disney-parkhoppers and #DisneyDreamers ~ fun for Disney fans of all types. I only have PhotoShop Elements, which only has some of the features of PhotoShop but have learned how to use it well enough. I have loads of pictures at my stock site regarding Disney and manips containing Disney Icons at =WDWParksGal-Stock

I have a nice surprise for you but I don't know how to post png's directly to you? Do you have an email address? It's something I picked up from a few of my character friends...

I maniped that picture based on a photograph by another deviant who wanted to get the people removed from it, as well as the wires that connect the castle to other buildings, where, I presume, Tinkerbell comes down before fireworks. Since it is Disneyland I have never seen this castle in person. Sigh. One of these days I hope to get to California to see it. It is on my "Bucket List"!!

(btw, where were the people?)

WDWParksGal In reply to ArtByKassie [2009-01-14 00:42:07 +0000 UTC]

As you are facing the castle, a photographer was on the right on the pavement going up into the bushes, which is why the bricks look off. The other person was a "guard" on the other side of the entrance of the castle in front of the carousel. You can see the picture up close here Through Walt s Eyes 2 on download

ArtByKassie In reply to WDWParksGal [2009-01-14 00:56:02 +0000 UTC]

Wow, you did a real good job of removing them. I see one spot that may be a tell tale sign, but I didn't see it until you said where and I looked REAL close.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

WDWParksGal In reply to ArtByKassie [2009-01-14 01:02:48 +0000 UTC]

I did my best to try and keep the bricks lined up using the clone tool but I was limited with my program. I figured only those looking really close will find the area!!

I just made another horse for the carousel and blackened in the side and removed the shadow. Amazingly, it didn't take me as long as I thought it would

You have surpassed me expectations! Thank you!

A bit more about the picture:
I was actually there for the rope drop in the morning, which is an amazing in itself if you know me. I have another picture from the top of main street ([link] ). As soon as the rope dropped I made a dash to the castle... knowing that there would be people immediately behind me, I took the picture as quick as I could so I didn't really have time to ask the photopass CM to move.

What really makes this picture special to me is that I'm sure Walt had seen a similar view of the castle... this view shows King Arthur's Carousel motionless and with no one on it.

I bet that is a rare time to see the park with few or no people in it! Both pictures came out well. One of these days I would like to get out to California and see Disneyland for myself
