One of the first deviations I loaded. Made that for my niece Shelly when she got married. The top lifts off to retrieve the cards. Took me six weeks to design and make it but it is still in wonderful shape and has been used a few times at weddings. I spent about $65 on the silk flowers and items on the cake. Bet it wouldn't cost as much now as craft store are rather prolific and they weren't in the early nineties!

I absolutely love crafts. It's fun to walk through the craft display at the Orange County Fair and see everything people have made for the competition. The fact of it being hand-made is way cooler too and is more special to people who receive it

This cake did win Honorable mention, which is fourth place, out of hundreds of entries. My fudge, on the other hand won first place

Thankees ~ am supposed to write out the chocolate fudge recipe for the chocolate lovers club but have to say the butterscotch-vanilla fudge is the best

I recently had a caramel/chocolate/pecan/waffle bowl sundae from Dairy Queen.... Totally gross! Candied pecans are gross and it was all WAY to sweet, even for me.

That does sound revolting ~ I cannot even walk into Dairy Queen. They use peanuts for about everything !!
