Description This is the moon as my lens saw it on the 9th of May 2006.
The Southern Hemispher view (if there is a difference. i don't know)
Cropped frame from original image. (Obviously I was only using a 300mm lens )

Look you can see craters

Excellent shot. Did you enlarge it when you cropped it, and if so how much?

I cropped it from the original 8mp photo down to ~1200 pixels wide. I then resized to 900 pixels wide (inside the white border) so thus I've reduced it ever so slightly from the original pixel size.

Thanks for the info. I just wasn't sure how large the moon was in the shot to begin with. Thanks again.

Some believe it is because the moon causes the tides, which are water and humans are something like 66% water...
