Sunset over the school bleachers? It is very tranquil looking.

Tranquil unitl you see the creepy rat people that live under those bleachers, or the ghost of the kid that ODed who haunts people who hang out there at night.  I'm sure if it is like almost ANY school there will be some kind os spooky legends that kids talk about.

Actually, there isn't. We're just like a normal high school. No scary stories here. The only legend the kids talk about at school is when a popular football player was shot by his father-in-law.

Holy crap...... and now his vengeful ghost roams the football field and lives under the bleachers. Mwahahahaha  What is funny is all it would take is for one student to start that rumor and all of a sudden stories of sightings would start popping up all over.  The place might even truly become haunted because of all the students wanting to believe it so much.  People are crazy that way.  Oh no, my lamp just flickered!  Must be the ghost of Thomas Edison! LOL (my lamp really did just flicker though oooOOOoooo) It's the power of suggestion and urban legends.

Back where i used to live in Hopewell IL, there was an old cemetery out in the middle of the woods near my parents' house.  My wife and i didn't have our own kids so we were the "cool relatives" that all the your nieces and nephews and cousins wanted to come hang out with.  There weren't even any roads to get to that that cemetery.  I found it one day when i was out hiking in the woods.

I had Shawnee, Haley, and Lana Jane with me one day just driving around the back country roads one night.  A farmer had been clearing some brush and for the first time you could look across the fields and actually just make out some of the gravestones through the trees.  I told the girls that it was "The lost Cemetery".  Lana Jane was totally superstitious and even though they should have known i was making it all up, within 30 seconds i had them totally believing it was cursed, because men had forgotten and neglected the graves.

It honestly was creepy though, because it really was overgrown and forgotten, so it was EASY to nudge them in the "cursed" direction.  I also had them believing in the "Satan Bridge" and "goat man" and "the Witch of the Woods" LOL  This one kid, Brian swore all that crap was true .  He also believed the "Satan Bridge" was guarded by the hounds of hell.  So many fun memories.  We creative types can be positively devilish when we are feeling mischievous.

When I was leading the youth group at the church there, we had a pizza party upstairs in the barn loft.  My little brother, who are quite a bit younger than me had a couple of the girls, totally convinced "Goat Man" was outside the barn RIGHT THEN, even though it was OBVIOUS it was his friend Paul banging on the barn door.  Fun memories XDDD

No, his ghost doesn't haunt the bleachers or the football field. But they did have a memorial for him in 1990 something and this was back with my mom was in high school. We both went to the same high school, and the second generation.

Yeah, I guess you right. But no one really tells scary stories at my school. It's usually when they do something stupid and they say "Casper did it" or " it wasn't me it was Casper" this is obviously some BS because Casper might be like, "WTF man. Just because I have a visible doesn't mean you can blame everything on me."

LOL! Those are really funny stories.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Sounds like you probably just aren't friends with the people telling all the stories.  I can tell you REAL supernatural stories that actually happened to me irl.  I have been around a TON of crazy stuff for real in my life, and i have always been very spiritually perceptive.  However i also know not to mess with that stuff, or you are asking for trouble.  Some of the stories are scary some are amazing and miraculous, but they are all true.  However I don't go telling most people because it is stuff that makes people think you are nuts if you around.  However that stuff also helps you to be a good writer I guess. lol
