A picture of Vega, Jenny's friend from My Life as a Teenage Robot. I liked the way my pic of Jenny turned out so i decided to do one of Vega. It did not go as smoothly. I must have reworked this thing twenty times. Sometimes you just have to know when to quit.Related content

Hi again, Thanks for commenting on Vega. Obviously, you are quite a MLaaTR fan. I miss the show. It was very original. Unfortunately, originality is seldom rewarded and they cancelled it. Television is a sadder place because they did. Thanks again.

ONCE THERE WAS A LITTLE GIRL NAMED CLARISSA. SHE WAS 10 YEARS OLD AND SHE LIVED IN A MENTAL HOSPITAL, BECAUSE SHE KILLED HER MOM AND DAD. SHE GOT SO BAD SHE STARTED TO KILL ALL THE STAFF IN THE HOSPITAL SO THE GOVERNMENT DECIDED THAT THE BEST IDEA WAS TO GET RID OF HER SO THEY SET UP A SPECIAL ROOM TO KILL HER, AS HUMANE AS POSSIBLE BUT IT WENT WRONG. THE MACHINE THEY WERE USING WENT WRONG. AND SHE SAT THERE IN AGONY FOR HOURS UNTIL SHE FINALLY DIED. NOW EVERY WEEK ON THE DAY OF HER DEATH SHE RETURNS TO THE PERSON THAT READS THIS LETTER, ON A MONDAY NIGHT AT 12:00 SHE CREEPS INTO YOUR ROOM AND KILLS YOU, BUT SLOWLY AND PAINFULLY SLOWLY CUTTING DIFFERENT PARTS OF YOUR BODY THEN WATCHES YOU BLEED TO DEATH IF YOU DON'T SEND THIS TO 20 PEOPLE BY MIDNIGHT, SHE'LL BE COMING TO KILL YOU! SEND IT SO SHE HAS ANOTHER LOAD OF PEOPLE TO GET AND FORGET ABOUT. YOU DON'T BELIVE ME? HEY?

Hi Tim II, Sure hope your enjoying Spring Break. After the hard work of mid terms you deserve a little time off. Thank you, for the massive ass applause though I'm not sure it is physically possible for an ass to clap no matter how big it is. That of course leads to the philosophical question, What is the sound of one ass clapping.
Anywho, I'm not blowing wind up your skirt. Honestly, your picture of Vega was what got me psyched to draw her. I like it so much I decided on the spot that I would have to do her very soon. So, you were my inspiration. You could probably see a little of yourself in the finish project. And as for the pose, there is a pic of her on Wilkipedia with her robot friends. She is standing there with her hand on her hip pointing. I thought she looked to be giving a little attitude so I based my drawing on that. Still it didn't come easy. I worked on her for quite a while before i got something i was happy with.

Spring Break? Not likely lad, lol. I had my midterms the week after it, so guess what I did for about 3-5 hours a day? ^o^
I care not for an ass clapping, I only fear an ass coughing and other etc I dare not get into, lol.
Hell happy to weezlcheez, besides your work always rules and I never mind the chat.
Inspiration from me? Naw lad, you did the work I had no part in any of it, twas all you my dear friend! *nods*
Gotta love those kinda sassy poses, makes drawing that much more fun.
And same here too! I think I spent about a good hour on her head, but man was it awesome by the end!

Super Cool!! What's happening? It's always so nice to hear from you. You never fail to give my day a big boost. Thank you so much. I've been thinking about drawing Vega since I drew Jenny but I have to admit, I sat down and didn't have any Idea what i was going to draw. I doodled for about a half an hour before I made up my mind to draw her. Usually I have some idea what i want to do with a character. With her I was clueless. Maybe that's why i had so much trouble. Sometimes it's nice to go into a drawing with some vision of what the final product is going to look like.

Hey, I doodle a lot before I finally figure out what I want. I usually draw a lot of stick figures in different poses before I decided to actually draw a charrie, no biggy. I think it's called.. serendipity? Happy accidents, in other words. Those are always so fun, especially if they come out good, which, yours always do! xD
My scanner broke, yet again, RIGHT after we got it fixed. It keeps saying something it unplugged. I think my cats may have chewed through the cord. xP I don't have very good luck with scanners and computers, lol. Keep up the good work!

The body and face is good, but the sideflaps are too big. Work on those a little more and you could have the perfect Vega.

Hi Maetch, Thanks for giving Vega a look. I'm glad you like the face and body. As for the sideflaps, you are probably right, they are too big. I made them that way for a couple of reasons. First, I drew a pic of Jenny in which I made her ponytails larger and I wanted this to have some of the same elements. And secondly, I've never been good at constraint. Just look at the bodies of any of the female characters I've drawn. They're all a bit top heavy. I can't seem to get it through my head that bigger isn't always better.

The first thing that struck me about this was the hips... you're really improving with them. I love this pose, this arragont, not bothered relaxed posture. Excellent detail... all in all a great pictures.

Hi Pete, Thanks a bunch. I'm glad you noticed the pose. I saw a picture on Wilipedia of Vega and her friends. She's standing with her hand on her hip and pointing at something. She definitely has an attitude in that pic and I wanted to match it. And as for the hips, they are much easier to make wide when you can't see the legs.

Hi Brite Star, It took awhile but I finally got around to drawing her. I'm glad you approve. Excuse the language but she was a haughty little bitch to draw. I just couldn't get her right. I wanted to give up on her a few times but she wouldn't let me.
