I used to love working with charcoal. Hated the mess and the fact that the spray-sealant is useless except for screwing up your lungs, but loved the effects. I'll still have to get back to it one of these days when I've got the space, but in the meanwhile, Illustrator's 'chalk' option is my new favorite toy.

This is my Champions character in secret ID. From dusk to midnight, he's Timmy Sinclair, starving musician. Midnight to dawn, he's Devildog, werewolf superhero, junior member of the Sentinels of Justice.
