A couple months ago I took Gretchen on a tour of the city showing her places that had a good deal of meaning to me in my youth. This picture was taken at Dry Creek Stables on C avenue heading north out of town.

I showed horses here when I was a kid, and was pretty good at it. I spent alot of time with my mom at these stables either practicing, showing, or just doing general maintnence for our horses.

This guy here was watching us silly humans with our cameras looking about. He moved over to see what we were doing near his fence and managed to show us his inner beauty. I say inner beauty because on the outside he was in desperate need of some pampering.
