I fell in love with Monster High quite a while ago. I've been wanting to buy a doll and mod her, but I can't seem to get up the nerve to do so.

So, instead, I decided to draw some Frankie fanart!

I never do a whole lot of fanart, because I can never make the characters of well, anything, fit into my personal style.

I tried out cel-shading with Frankie's limited cartoon palette. I think it turned out all right and it was some good practice. I think that if I ever draw Frankie again, I'll just draw the tartan pattern instead of drawing and applying as a texture. Using the puppet warp tool is to difficult and I didn't get the effect that I wanted. It'll be faster to just draw a simplified version of the tartan pattern and make it fit over her curves and edges. Nobody says that it has to look exactly like her cartoon version!

I want to draw the whole cast! I want to make up a Monster High OC! I want to draw the silly outfits all of them wear!!
