Great shot! I imagine it should have been really difficult to take this one xD Judgjing the aberrations around the silhouette you were pretty far as well, and if i can give some advice you may tweak the photo in photoshop and try fixing the edges problem. Still a really good shot!

I can see what you mean about the lighting. It's always tricky, especially around black things like the bird.
