Man, I'm in the wrong classes if you get to draw THAT for homework! Yeah, a lot of people forget that a Golem is usually one or several inanimate objects given artificial life. You really did a good job of having what I assume to be the "good"golem on the left made of trees, plants, and I see some rocks in there--very neutral or even peaceful in nature.
The one on the right is clearly a neat representation of a "dark" golem--made of the spines, sklls, bones, weapons, armor of fallen (or sacrificed?) soldiers and warriors trying to slay the one who created it. Man the arms on that thing are sick! I love the creativity there--one of shields and the other of human spines!
And nothing is "nice" about anything with that many eyes and teeth. Nothin at all.

Haha well I try to make lean everything in a direction that could make it a portfolio piece.
For the actual assignment (in Design for Illustration) We got a random pair of opposite words drawn fro ma can. I got Create/Destroy. So then we have to make a reciprocating design with a specific color scheme of our choosing. Mine is going to be 2 Battle Mages creating Golems to destroy each other
I did my research on Golems too all the way down to their origin in Jewish folklore. The one is a Forest Golem, and the other would be from a cemetery or old battle ground.
