Description
Sgt. Spitfire expels Lightning Dust from the flight academy for her reckless behavior. But before she could be shown to the door, Lightning Dust unleashes a barrage of gunfire into her former commander. Mortally wounded, Spitfire pulls out her sidearm. The dedicated Wonderbolt returns fire at her treasonous ex-student. Bullets tear though Lightning Dust's body like butter. Chunks of flesh and blood splatter through the air.Related content

The classic killer plan; Murder then suicide, but it seem Lightning Dust plan backfire, drawing a gun against a pro warrior (Spitfire). Drama is more enjoyable when is digital art with historical knowledge of a current scene!

although i have to admit, i did feel sorry for lightning and the end of the episode. Being expelled seemed a bit harsh.

Lightind gust is dead before she evn his the floor there. one right in the chest (most likely in the heart), and one in the neck (main arteries and most likely spine).
As for spitfire. It's all shots that are non-lethal in human standards if treated fast. For her it depends on pony medical care. I also believe they might be able to do some unicorn magic tricks to save her. If they can get an unicorn in time that is.

Come on, Twilight laser attack can penetrate solid rock and it still can not blow up changeling head, Derpy drop really heavy cargo on Twilight and it hardly did any damage, and there is far more examples how durable are ponies.
I am sure some firearms are not lethal at all, at worse they will have to spend some time in hospital, those ponies are tough.
