Description
I have a scenario running for a post apocalyptic RPG. The PCs were captured and forced to work in a clandestine gold mining operation, along with other poor souls.
As a noob GM, I mistakenly anticipated the players would try a daring escape and leave the camp ASAP. Instead, they chose to wait. The first part ended in an epic prison shiv duel. By winning it, the PCs are now at the top of the food chain among the prisoners and will be able to recruit them for much bigger plans.
This is pretty cool, but I sized the operation according to what felt realstic, not anticipating I would have to write an actual character sheet for each of the 19 surviving NPCs. And I made it a point to give everyone a face to help the players differentiate them. This and refining the scenario took me almost a year, but I'm finally done. Now to find time to actually play the game...
