Description
This is a reference from "Don't Touch That Dial," when the Teen Titans are sucked into the TV to chase down Control Freak. "Zinthos" was a parody of a pharmeceutical commercial. You know, the ones where they try to sell you drugs to cure something and they won't actually tell you what it's for exactly? That's the kind. On the show, it was just the Titans against a black backdrop fighting a couple of TV baddies. Thing is, those commercials are usually shot outdoors, with people running through fields or something, so I made this as a parody of that. At first I thought about putting Raven in the field, since "Zinthos" is her phrase, but Starfire seems more like the type. I may add the other Titans in the future.Comments make my head bones do the happy dance! Please, think of my head bones!

The "Zinthos" commercial is a parody of all those drug commercials on TV .
ยป "New, blue, Zinthos" is a reference to Nuprin, an aspirin pill ("little, yellow, nuprin").
ยป "Do not get Zinthos wet, and do not feed it after midnight" is a reference to the movie "Gremlins."

I know, I had much the same reaction when I first saw it.
The Teen Titans DVD Switched has the rest of season one, whereas the episode referenced by my Zinthos piece, "Episode 257-494" (or "Don't Touch That Dial," as it's sometimes called), is the first episode of season four.

I did base this 'running thru field' business on such a commercial, though God knows which one, I don't memorize the names. Those drug names are nonsense words, they just ran out of real things to name them after.
And what the hell is "irregularity" anyway? What are they measuring up against?
