mmmmmm wool, I love wool!!!! Sadly wool dosen't work well in the climate I live in, given that it hits 120 here in the summer, or else I would make so much more out of wool

Ahh, yes sometimes I forget that not everywhere can have a 110 degree seasonal swing in temperature like Colo. You might try the M1951 weight anyway (I believe it's 9oz...but I could be wrong, I'm not a tailor (nor do I play one on TV ) If'n you really like wool, you might try some of the "fine" grain wool like gabardine (I think)....The US tropical uniform in WWII was actually made of wool. (I guess for the wicking qualities) If I find some, I'll send you a link...

Phenomenal sewing work....I wish I had the time to sit down and make stuff like that...

You have seasons, I'm jelous!!I actually have a few medieval dressed mad of nice wool gamerdine for the one week its coldat night here, which coinsides with estrella war. I'm also getting some really nice coat weight wool for my Edward Elric costume, cause that just neeeeeds to be wool, even if its gonna kill me from overheating.

I'm a moderate fan of FMA, but that would be pretty spiffy. I imagine that it would look something like a red version of the wool liner that lives in my WWII trench coat. A minor suggestion, take a page from my trench coat liner. Put a satin/tafeta liner in the upper shoulder area to allow the coat to be able to slip a bit on the shoulders so it doesn't wad you shirt up. I look forward to the pictures...

Ehhh...seasons are okay until they have the occasional identity crisis and we end up with 6 inches of pea sized hail or it's 75 in January.

I dunno where to begin for designs... and when I asked you or Kisa, for a project with Tub Ring, for help on how to design Steampunk outfits... I got no responces :<
