So, I had wanted to do this for a while and finally I did!And yes, Prongs -James Potter- was my inspiration, I mean, every little thing about him is perfect and magical, literally, I really reaaaally love this one

In a place as horrifying and scary as the Forbidden Forest (I'm guessing), any ray of hope would've been a blessing, and I think it is reflected well in this drawing.
I could only imagine being in Harry Potter's position, completely alone and in the dark, with not a single ally in sight, and then this fantastic magical deer, who he knows is his father, shows up in his time of need. Could be a metaphor for a LOT of serious issues both in fiction and in the real world.
There's a great contrast between the brooding forest in the distance and Prongs in his luminescent glory... Almost like he's there to shield Harry from the dangers beyond.Β
I've gotta say, you've done a real fine job capturing this idea from the novel and putting it on paper. Keep it up, pal!

I really love it. It almost has a storybook-feel and to it. The blues and blue-greens are lovely together. Those are two of my favorite colors. The snow and glowing white are great touches!
