Someone suggested that I color my sketch the other day...so I did XDIt's Hermione, she looks so much better in color, lol.
It's a simple sketch I did randomly over lunch, wasn't cleaned up very well, and kind of rough...but it had personality, so I really liked it. So tonight, I took the time to clean it up some, fix a few things that had been bothering me, and colored it!
I like the parchment texture with the original sketch, it adds so much warmth to it and personality, but I didn't have to do the work of going over my lines digitally. It takes forever, so it's nice that I can avoid it sometimes

I love the subtle shading by her nose! And yes---it is VERY fancy! I love it! The parchment idea was really cool too!

Yay!! Someone noticed the shading! It's not terribly hard the way I do it, but it takes practice to get it right, especially on the face, so i love that someone noticed it!!
