Can they be enormous and dwell in caves? The stuff of legend until two young adventurers seeking *insert old kung-fu master here* meet one in a cave in the mountains before being forced to use their wits to survive the bird in what later turns out to be a challenge from the master, a test to prove themselves before he agrees to teach them the ways of *special form of ancient fighting* so they can defeat *really evil bad guy* in a pre-destined battle to the death? And what if they later rode it? To do battle with the villains ICE-DRAGONS!!! And they should have magic powers unleashed by a proper understanding of *The Force (but dressed up so it looks like my idea)*! Powers that take on different forms due to their different personalities?
I like it when I have ideas like that.
