Description
This piece was inspired by a not-so-G-rated dream I had the other night featuring a best friend of mine. In the dream, I was wandering around an almost vacant neighborhood in halfa form (half wolf, half girl). I came across ~thiro jogging (it was around 8 at night--8 at night here the sky would be close to that color). I snuck up from behind a brick wall and started tearing at his clothing. I backed off a bit after I got one of his shoes and started chewing on it. Thiro sat up on the brick wall just like that and said, "I love it when you're rough, you naughty sheila," in a very soft Australian accent. About the "sheila" thing--I gotta stop watching Crocodile Hunter before going to bed.

Moving on, after hearing his voice, I knew who it was and... we'll just leave it at that.

I remember the entire dream quite vividly, but this was about the only scene I could draw without having to slap an M sticker on it. *gets strange looks from everyone* Hey, it's not MY fault I had this dream! Blame my very, very bad subconscious! *has probably scarred Thiro for life* Sorry, mate. Forgive me?

Of course, this pose was inspired by a screencap from a DP episode since I have a hard time drawing from memory, well, in regards to poses like this. Just glad I came across one that looked just like the pose in my dream. I messed around with it a bit, like the outfit, feet, facial expression, etc., to make it my own. As for the background, it's recycled, except for the brick wall and the sky color. I added and changed it respectively.

I'm very, VERY proud of this, from the way part of his body is leaning a bit (same goes for the position of the hands) to the tears in his clothing along with the highlights and shading. I also am in love with HIS left leg. I like how it's a bit more in the air than you would think for its position, like he's trying to situtate himself more whilst looking at it. And the footie RULES. I love drawing feet. And socks.

Please, for the love of wolves, don't crit me on there not being a shadow on the brick wall from his legs. I couldn't get it to look right. Besides, I like it like this because it puts more of the attention on Thiro, as it should be.

So, yep, this is for you, mate! *hugs Thiro*

You guys seriously need to check him out! He's a wonderful artist who's talent and skills far exceed my own. His cel-shaded works blow my mind and the time and effort you know goes into each pic shines like a thousand suns. He's also a great friend who deserves to have his works checked out so much more than mine. Go give him a look or I'll sick Hans so fast on your ass you won't have time to blink!

I'm not feelin' so hot, so I'm gonna work on a picture for a good friend of mine, take a few sleeping pills and then call it a night.
