You could have done some really cool practise with lighting here, its a shame you didn't bother with more values and tones. I like the depth created by the microphones. Oh, the cast shadows say that the light is coming from her back, but the perspective on the lights say it's coming from the side. You need to make sure your stuff is consistent. Keep trying.

In fact, I focused quite a lot on the shades and kept in mind all the time where the light was coming from. Still, you're right. I messed with the cast shadows >.< I'll fix that later, it won't take me more than 2 minutes ^^
Be at ease though, there are still many many more pieces to come and you to comment on (if you want, ofc)

Maybe it's my monitor, but the shading still looks really light to me. Especially when compared to the darkness of the background.

It could be. I promise I will make the shading a lot darker in my next. If it still looks light to you in that one, then it'll be your monitor's fault. If not, then I deserve being impaled for not shading properly this time.
