Some fanart from RASalvatore (again) this is Jarlaxle and Artemis Entreri in a scene near the end of Promise of the Witch-King.'' - You will go against a legendary paladin king?

Entreri started to speak several times, but nothing decipherable came forth. Finally he just shook his head, sighed, and turned away, moving back down toward the flat ground.

And how is he depicted in R.A. Salvatore's books??? My version is certainly not perfect (He really dont look enough ''manly'') but, for the clothes, I remember his high boots, his magical bracer, his colorful cape, his wide-brimmed hat with a diatryma feather... I did I missed?

Cool picture. I really like the way you've drawn Jarlaxle, (and Artemis) but shouldn't Artemis have a moustache? He looks a bit too shaven.

As for the moustache, yes, Artemis had a goat in the book. But I was still in denial at that moment

The pink and purple is just the right amount of gaudy and flamboyant to suit him, it looks good.
Artemis no look in goatee... too stereotype. The specified 'always-in-need-of-a-shave' look he usually has is better, you should have gone with that.

The hair needs to be shorter on Artemis, Jarlaxle makes him keep hi hair neatly trimmed. Plus, Jarlaxle wears no shirt under his vest. Just friendly advise, the picture is great otherwise.

the picture is very good and shows how i think those two would get along(haven't read the books where are team...which are those if you mind telling a fellow R.A . Salvatore fan!)but..well....Jaraxle looks kind like a woman...but besides that....very good picture!

Although a great drawing, I have a something I don't think has been pointed out yet.
Entreri's skin is grey after sucking the essence of a shade with his jewelled dagger.'
Also, the last Entreri book was awesome.

I just love this picture and I just saw it on Lavender eyes yesterday. Anyway, you did such a wonderful job coloring it. I love the look on Artemis's face and the costumes are wonderful. Just an amazing job!!!

That is a near perfect interpretation of both those characters. Jarlaxle's outfit is quite appropriate for him and Entreri has that hardened, weary look without looking too young or too old. The colors are fabulous and the forms of both characters strike a good balance as well.

In my opinion, your interpretation of Entreri is more than perfect. Exactly how I see him. The only thing different from my perception is Jarlaxle's clothes. I always saw him in purple, mostly due to the hat.

I must say I had difficult time selecting colors for Jarlaxle clothes. I would not do it that way next time. Maybe I will try more purple !
