The way the hair flows over the hands and the arms like misty tendrils adds so much intensity to an already very powerful image. In fact I think itβs really what makes the shot for me. Donβt get me wrong every other detail is perfect really. The tone, dark and almost gothic. The dirty looking skin and itβs rough texture, the placement of the fingers and shadows that they create, making it appear as though they are masking a cavernous scream. I can almost feel the shaking deep within the depths of her soul. There are holes in her, deep dark wounds from the hurt. But I think the hair is what makes it all the better. If that echo of pain comes out... Well... It's an amazing piece of work by model and photographer.
