I didn't like Alanna much, at least in comparison to Daine, and then Aly was all the things I didn't like about Alanna rolled together and then some. She's so quirky, she accidentally dyed her hair blue! So sexy she seduces a bird! So great spying that the god of spying (well, the trickster god) thinks she's great, too!
All the other TP books I've read, I've read at least twice, and probably three or four times for the Song of the Lioness/Immortals quartets. Trickster's Choice/Trickster's Queen took me nearly a month to make it through once. I didn't really like the Keladry books, because I thought she was a kind of bland character compared to Alanna/Daine/Circle of Magic kids, but at least liked her "as a person." Aly, I just kept waiting for people to put her in her place.

i love all of the books and this hilarous! i havent read the trickster books or beka cooper. im waiting for them to arrive at my library. i totally forgot who said "Lord Raoul asked me to tell you that if you get yourself killed, he will never speak to you again." because i laffed so hard when i read it!
