Story:

The darkness, which many fear holds secrets that of which are left untold.
Secrets that of which are not mean to be told for those who find it may meet their untimely demise.
But within the darkness their are those who once bore light into the world with their presence.
Ones who had been graced with the light of innocents once but, now were robbed of it as they had grown older with age and time.
Though light was returned to them, the pain of years gone past remained fresh like the wounds of a beast that tore through your skin leavening its mark for all eyes to see and uncover.

In a room two women stand before you all each one barring marks of past regrets, shames, trauma's and much more upon their shoulders.
While each has been blessed with a family and children to call their own none can see the marks that time and others have left upon their bodies.
Both raven haired women with eyes of emerald shine and the other of lilac flowers stood back to back looking up at the sky which held many stars above it, a sight they had seen many times before but, found comfort in sharing.
Both knew of the other well, both knew of the other's suffering that each had shared and it was in that shared pain they had a connection to one another.
Bitter and cold had the world turned them into, a part of them that could never be undone thanks to that which had been thrust upon them at young ages.
Parents who they had trusted and turned their back on them to the fate of monsters which took what little light they possessed and shattered till nothing almost remained.
While some difference about their lives did come about making each of their story different they still shared the common pain of being used, torn down, abandoned and hurt beyond comparison.
A story they didn't share with others, for if they did would have surely had to trust them to obtain and those who had not earned that friendship would find a horrid side to them the likes of whice those beyond can not fathom.

Morgana Le Fay a powerful sorceress in her own right and once proud fay of the moon stood beside the noblewoman whos eyes were of an emerald shine.
Born into high birth much was expected of her at a young age even among fay folk changing the once bright woman had once been into the woman that stood before you now.
Beautiful and graceful this fay had been the shinning example of what moon fay should have been but, it was her naivety and her compassion that was her own undoing in which brought her to ruins.
She had once trusted human's and believed not all to be vile but, after she had been robbed of her wings, a ability to fly without restraint her love for the humans all but, ran cold like the Icey water of a winter river or creek.
Yet it was not only humans who had betrayed her in a dire time of need that she had gone to them but, her own kind who she sought aid from also played their part in showing her that kindness did not always fallowed those who meant well.
Her view of kindness was shattered beyond repair for her family even helped her not leavening her to pick up the broken pieces of which both humanity and fae folk alike had left to rot and disperse.
Yet some slight semblance of innocents remained within her even with the lose of her once percious wings, however then the second tragedy came forceing the once happy innocent fae to spiral down a darkened path of loathing, hatred and bitterness at the world around her.
It was when she was to be wedded to the dark fae king Urien that she lost all of that which had once brought joy and happiness into her heart and soul that became lost for many centuries to come.

For it was he who pushed Morgana into the furthest reaches of hell, pushed her into the farthest reaches of the darkness where Morgana felt the most at home now that she welcomed with open arms.
Urien had not been kind to his wife, shedding not a tear nor ounce of kindness to her as he hurt her far beyond the scoop of what many around them could see.
Urien left her with little pity or remorse, often feeding her insults and curle words of abuse that had left her a broken sprite and shell of that she once was.
Even when he had done vile things to her and her body, forceing his own desires and pleasure's onto her she found strength in the idea of having a small glimmer of hope inside her belly that perhaps one thing would come out of this horrid marriage alright.
A small glimmer that even then was stolen from her, losing the baby she would have loved and adored till her dyeing breath that she had believed had been robbed from her because of a difficult birth had spiraled the once happy fae into darkness and despair...
Her tears and screams of anguish were not heard by any, her sorrow fell on deaf ears that none would hear but, her hatred of those around grew until the desire to be freed from shakes of restraint came like a force of hell.
Doing all that she could until she finally broke her bonds the sorceress freed herself from the evil grip of a man she couldn't love nor, would love till her dyeing breath vowing that she would never allow herself to love or, to be fooled again by those around her.
She had lost everything her life had once given her as the respect, dignity, self-worth, kindness, compassion and love had all but, entirely disappeared from her soul and her heart leavening her to be who she was before her husband came into her life.

The other woman with hair of pristine black and emerald shine eyes was also one that fate had found to be worth tormenting while it took all that she loved and cared about away until she like the other was left bitter, and cold.
Growing up in a wealth noble family much like Morgana with a strict father she loved deeply and a talented mother of archery Adelias grew up in a home in with 3 older siblings of which despit it size had been her one true place among them.
However the death of the father had caused many an up roar not just among the family of the Belrose but, within her own heart at a young age a fate that had caused great hardship and unexpecting consequences with his departure from the world of the living.
From their after his death she derailed into brutality, trickery and fighting a series of things that was not smiled upon as she went even so, far as to steal that whice didn't belong to her but, were percious to others.
At first her mother with a sorrowful heart was able to quell the raging wave of her Daughtry's anger and resent towards the world for taking her beloved father away but, that quickly turned into something the likes would spilt them for many years.
For arranged into a marriage much like Morgana Adelies found herself hateing her new life with her husband, a life that was hellish and unwanted as the man cared very little for her feelings or her desires...
A man much like Urien was to Morgana who took advantage of her so that a heir could be brought into this world, a heir that despite her hellish life she would love with every fiber of her being until even then...
The child was ripped from her arms without warning, throwing what little of her innocents left to the shadowy world of darkness...

With the help of a soon to be friend, one that would become her best she was able to find salvation in a world that had long forgotten and abandoned her without remorse or care.
Once freed from the shackles of the confinement of hell did the young raven haired women take her anger out on that which she believed to have the best intentions for her at that time....
However, things are not as often so simple as we think and what had been good intentions turned into animosity towards her, and upon the truth being revealed did the mother Estelle try to make amends only for the once proud girl to proclaim that the other had deceived her, that she had indeed in a hate filled scream "You Liked To me."
Blood soaked her mothers nose as she had struck her hard, tears running down her face, eyes tried from restless nights and the worlds torment, hair that was disheveled and wild did they stand before the other...
As the blood ran down her mother's face and the tears continued to fall from her own only a signal sentence escaped her lips towards the one she called "Mother".
"I hate you."
Words so simple but, left a mark upon both of their bodies and future years of regret and resentment.
With that thier bond was severed but, years later they would make thier ammends though it would be diffcult.

Yes, both woman had been thrown into the jaw of the wolves so to speak and the darkness had consumed what was left of the innocents, naivety and compassion that they had once held in their hearts...
Now it was all but, lost to the ravages of time and hurt that had been inflicted upon them changing the way they view the world and others around them.
A world both felt that had left them to rot, that had abandoned them, a world that for all that they cared could burn to ash and cinders with the rest of the humanity and fae alike.
Damage that could not be easily undone but, yet in the darkest hours of the women's live did both Morgana and Adelies find a small source of light, a glimmer of hope that refused to let them sink further down until they drowned in it...
These things came in the form of men, both blond hair that shimmered of the brightest light during beautiful sunny days with eyes so blue that you felt like you could fall into the ocean cold embrace without a signal though.
Wary of them they had been, refusing to allow them entry into their lives but, slowly, through effort and time did both manage to pull the ladies back from the darkest perspire from which had tried to consume them whole.
Both men with much love and compassion to give in their hearts who saw women in need of a source of light, a source of comfort and safety to which they had given them and a life both had always dreamed of haveing...
Yes, Arthur and Clement had brought light once more into the hearts of the women who had thought their was nothing left but, vile resentment, vitriol and hatred left in the world.
These men had brought them light they lost, but hope for the future, a loving relationship and best of all children to protect and raise till death did they part.
Within the room both women stood in did they finally meet each other lilac eyes and emerald shine staring at the other observing the others motives with calculating eyes wondering what the other sought from them.
However, it was not until they had stared into the others eyes for a long time that both saw the same pain in the other's eyes as they did their own.
The despire of being abandoned by those they felt close to, the hatred for the world robbing them of everything that once made them pure, the agonizing depression of losing a child and the betray of those who were meant to protect you.

Yes, in each other they saw themselves in the others' eyes and though some circumstance were different they were not to different from each other in many respects.
It was if they had found a kindred sprite in the other, an oddity considering their very nature.
They found someone else who bore all their scares and trauma's rolled into one as they approached the other without hesitation their eyes never leavening the other as before long one spoke.
"I see it in your eyes as you must see in mine... That we are no different from each other with the hardships we have faced, the trails we have endured and the salvation we have received..."
"I do see it. I see someone like me, who has been taken advantage of by a man who was supposed to love her, the betray of those though to protect us and the devastations of losing a child we wanted so, badly to love."
They stood in front of each other no more words being said but, they didn't need to for they already knew much about the other without having to say it out loud.
Soon both women felt the tears in their eyes, falling from their face like raindrops from storm clouds, the overwhelming sense of relief to be in the presence of another who suffered as much as they themselves had.
"You are weeping."
"As are you."

Their feelings overwhelmed them as the feelings they had not shown others expect for that of their husbands came flooding out until both were crying tears of relief and anguish.
Adelies felt her tears run down her face as she held her hands tightly in front of her chest trying to speak but, not a word came out no matter how hard she tried.
Morgana on the other hand put a hand to her face feeling her own tears fall down as she tried to let out a scream but, like Adelis no sound came nor, would be heard in this empty space around them.
Yet, sound was not needed as they already knew the pain the other suffered and in a twist of compassion and understand did both women's do something that normal they would have never thought possible.
Adelies and Morgana shared a embrace, a tight, reassuring hug as their tears fell to the ground holding the other close as if to tell one another that they were not alone in their suffering.
"I know your pain, I know your suffering, and I say this now not as a gesture of pity yet, of understanding."
"I know. You are not alone. I am not alone. Not anymore."
They embrace was tight, and strong as both women cried letting the past consume them for a time before gently letting go of the other whipping the few remaining tears away from their faces.

Adelies earrings glistened like ruby's in the light as Morgana's eyes shimmered like a haunting if not beckoning call.
A smile so, gently crossed their lips as they took a final look at each other knowing this would be their last time meeting.
"I wish you well in your life, may the light guide you until your journey ends."
"As the same for you. May it guide you before your own light fades from the world itself."
That gently smile did not leave their features as they turned their backs to each other and began walking away knowing that they would be returning home but, not entirely as they were before.
Each one carried with them the understanding that despite the time, the period, the gender or the reason some would share the pain that others had and build stronger bonds with them.
A bond that they shared they new would never be broken by neither rain nor shine, sleet nor, snow a bond that they both would take to their graves.
