Description
So here it is. First page of Atlantis. It's an Altarion side story about the creation of Schwarze Ritter mercenary squad, and I'm making it show on my website. It will be a four-episodes story, American size.I'm not a translator, so if anyone has an idea that could improve the dialogues I'd like to know it!

I think the only thing I could say for the dialog in this one would be instead of:
"Planetary shuttle from Mars on arrival at Gate 23. Flight for Rome is leaving..."
Try something like:
"Mars flight (flight number here) planetary shuttle (on arrival/docking) at Gate 23. Rome flight (flight number here) departing (at)..."
I dunno itialian, otherwise I'd offer my services.

Nifty! The onyl idea on dialoge I could give ya in the second panel would be Planetary shuttle from mars now arriving at gate 23. The flight for rome is now leaving.

Wow, great job! I've only seen the first page and I already love the concept! It looks like you've finalized your style already, which is the best thing to do before starting a comic. Nice job!

I love all the yellow highlights! I think this will make for a very good comic, even though I'd like to see more underwater stuff than above-ground. 'Rome' doesn't sound like it would be under the ocean to me, even if you're not sticking to Earth facts. Wait, was I including Atlantis as an "Earth fact"??

The story is set in a not specified future, so my Atlantis is not the legendary city of the past. And it's the only underwater citiy of Earth, as the technology used to build it is of alien origin. Besides, the starship in the first panel just came from Martian colonies... So yes, Rome is where it has always been (no polar ice pack melting here).

cool, i'm prety new to drawing and stuff but i'm trying to get better, do you think its better to do traditional art first then move up to digitall art? Or is it the same if i start out with digital art?

I think it's easier to start with good old pencil - at last because you can turn the sheet to draw certain lines.^^ Drawing with a tablet is much more difficult because your hand has to trace lines in unnatural positions. For the coloring, I think you can start directly with digital medium. You have a lot more possibilities and - most of all - no brush cleaning to do.
I've been drawing for all my life, my father was a painter when he was younger so he taught me something, and then I took a degree in a commercial art class.

I don't know, I still use photoshop 7. I suggest that you experiment a lot with customization. I prefer textured brushes, but plain ones allow you to use the smudging tool to merge colors.

I guessed so... 
I don't use colored pencils anymore, especially for comics. It's a slow medium, so I scan the pencil lineart and color it with photoshop. I use textured brushed because a great Italian comic artist, Marco Patrito, told me that my pencils were far better than my older coloring style. So I developed custom brushes to make my works look *less* digital.

I like the different shades of blue. The way the city dips and rises with the ocean floor keeps it from looking congested. It has a very soft feel to it, nicely done.
