I know I've said it so many times before, but I do not enjoy drawing hair. I wanted to throw myself out of the window because I was so frustrated. I've started drawing and deleted the hair about 10 times and when I was somewhat satisfied, I edited the hair with another 10 blending layers.. multiply, screen, overlay.. you know what i mean.In the end I cut out most of the hair because it was looking completely messed up. Now it looks halfway decent.
Lyndsy Fonseca, because I'm looking forward to season 2 of Nikita.

And I can comprehend your "aversion" concerning drawing hairs very well ... I already fail to draw hair with paper and pencil! But yours is amazing!
May I ask you a question? How many layers do you use usually for such a picture? I'm a beginner in digital painting and always overdo it with the number of layers ;o).

I counted 21 layers in the end, but I already merged the skin and the hair, so you can add about another 10 to 20 layers. Though I think there can never be too many layers
