Description
Well this is another OC created by my girlfriend (she write manga scrips ) named Claire.I am getting better with the skin tones but not with the hair... I am not happy with the way it is... dunno why...
Hope you guys like it!!!
PS: for my nexts drawings I will draw Boys instead... just to diversify

but if you make the hair a bit shinier, i think it would look much better!
is that white "stuff" on the hair, the reflection? if yes, set the layer options of that reflection to "luminosity", and it will look muuch better!

no... not irony at all... its just that i like when ppl give some feedback...so many ppl usually like to troll and just be jerks... the feedback help me to improve and thats what I am aiming for... I draw the sketch normally with pencil, then, once scanned i work with Photoshop CS5 and my Wacom intuos4... still learning in the Digital Arts way ehehe...

maybe you should try using "Easy Paint Tool SAI" if you haven't already... I like it much more for drawing than photoshop (like many other ppl too)!
If you didn't quite understand what i meant with the layers, here's a pic for clarifying things:

On the pic, the normal blender can be compared to a layer in photoshop that is set to "normal"
The additive blender increases the luminosity of the image as you can see. This can be compared to a layer in photoshop that is set to "add" or "linear dodge (add)" try it, and you'll see a huge difference!

great tips! i will definitely try that... i actually use the "Easy Paint Tool SAI". but just for the lineart... I am very new to the digital art thing so... is quite har for me. Even with me wacom tablet is very dificult... i think that i will eventually buy a wacom cintiq, that whay feels more natural.
Dont worry about the layers I actually undertand it pretty well and test it already... And let me tell you, the diference was huge! like u say... Thanks again for all the feedback and help that u give me...
