sure, but that doesn't make me agree of the tattoo design any more. just a thing personal preference, you know. there are more "expressive" forms of tattoos than tribals, if you ask me.

I am afraid I do not understand what you mean. Neither can you understand the meaning behind the form of the tattoo as the artist portraid here would, nor do I agree that tribals cannot be as 'expressive' as other tattoo styles. As a matter of fact I do think that tribal tattoo art has evolved a lot during the past years and that clean simple shapes as are typical for 'tribal tattoos' can be a very powerful means of expressing as well as concealing an idea or ideal upon ones one's own skin and flesh.

bluntly said (and only considering my personal opinion), this tattoo looks like the sole purpose of it was to piss "normal" people off and that - if you ask me - it lacks the aesthetic dimension that a tattoo should also have.
but it's a moot point to discuss, he's dead and gone now anyway.

Your personal opinion indeed. A look inside your gallery helps to figure how qualified it is. So I took the time and had a look at the stuff you have uploaded there and frankly spoken, aesthetically pleasing is something different. But irony has it that the least talented people criticize for the mere sake of criticizing and in hope to gain someone's attention through mere provocation rather than actual talent and skill.

there's no reason to disregard me just for stating my opinion, even if it differs from yours. In no way did i attack or insult you personally, nor did i criticise or doubt your skill as a photographer. actually i really enjoyed looking at your shots from dissection's gig, my intention was not to provoke, but to lead a decent conversation.

as long as a person posesses a pair of functioning eyes he or she is perfectly capable to voice an opinion about any topic whatsoever, it has nothing to do with being "talented" or not.
