Pacifica decides to use the copier machine to create a Pacifica clones to keep Dipper in sight not to look other girls all the time. Because she is so jealous and she doesn't share him.Octad means "a group of eight" by the way.

I imagine that Pacifica had seven numbered dresses made; since she wouldn't allow a Sharpie to write on her clothes and couldn't stand the faded colors produced by the copier.
A touch of make-up and some hair dye to bring the copies to perfection!
