A fantastic capture and a beautiful rose..

Having no idea what a Dog Rose was Google put me on the right track with its botanic name Rosa canina so I had a read about it in my Botanica Book Of Roses. A delightful rose with a lot of uses from root stock, to rose hip jelly plus another.
