That's a Fossa (Cryptoprocta ferox). It's a mammal endemic to madagascar. It's a carnivore. As I saw the movie I thought that they don't really exist. That DreamWorks just made them up. But guess what.. they're real!!
They're really cool and pretty unique. Nearly like the Maned Wolf .

Am I the only person who didn't know about Fossa before Madagascar? XD My boyfriend showed me a link to these guys and I was like "ummm yeah I was obsessed with them when I was like 5". lol
