Description
Here in the woodland savanna of South Africa, we see a black sable antelope watching over his herd of females and calves. The male sable antelope is heavier and a lot darker than the female. He also has long, curvy horns to defend his herd from other males and protects himself from large predators. Many of them die from the sable antelope's scimitar horns.
