Whoo, my first tutorial. It's simply a tutorial showing how you can change your Photoshop settings to give you super smooth, super crisp lines. Yay!
You must have Photoshop for this tutorial!
This is not the only way to get smooth lines, it's just how I do it. I didn't try to copy off of anybody when I made this, so if anything in this tutorial is the same as another one, then it was just a coincidence, I guess...hope this tutorial helps somebody!

EDIT: Many of you have asked if this will work with Elements. It will! With the brush tool selected, go to "More Options" and you will find some of the settings I mention in this tutorial. Play with spacing and hardness to get a smoother line. However, please note that I rarely go on this account anymore and am not here to answer questions. Using CS5 portable, what's that basic brush shape you first choose? where do I pick it? Im talking about the shape that its narrow on the edges.

Unfortunately, this tutorial won't work with Photoshop 6.0. PS 7 and higher will. Sorry about that.

Try looking at my new tutorial. There's a link to it in the description. Make sure you change all the settings indicated. Also, are you using a tablet or a mouse? Because without a tablet you won't get that tapered end that I show here.

You can still get crisp lines using this tutorial and a mouse, just not the pen pressure feature that makes it tapered like that.

This is good tutorial BUT I can't find that icon from Photoshop elements!
I've been fighting with my photoshop ever since I got it and I still can't do good outlines. I've tried all the things I've found but nothing is working!
It makes me kinda CRAZY!
