Description
One of my favorite role plays of my poor Doestep! She fell into the river and thank goodness she was saved by the charming Toadthroat! Little did she know that she would have been better off if he had just left her in there xD Naww I'm kidding! Doestep is grateful, and she likes Toadthroat in the end, however grouchy and insistent he is.

((perhaps this could be why she has the plague now...))

Anyway, just a gift for to show her how much I love her character and our role play! I hope you like it! ((please respond again soon!)) Also, I saw a few different pictures with a few different slightly different markings for Toadthroat...in the end I just went with the picture in his reference. Let me know if I can change anything to make him more true to how you imagine him!

If anyone else would like to role play with Doestep, send me a message/note! I'm always looking for more fun situations to put her through I am also happy to accept advice on anatomy/shading/anything else! I just want to get better

--> Toadthroat managed to drag himself up onto the muddy bank. The moment he was free of the rapids he whipped around, took the she-cat's scruff in his jaws, and practically threw her clear of the water and onto dry land. He was panting, his pelt was sticking to his body, and he was frozen to the bone-- but his heart beat slowed, and his breathing evened, when he realised they were safe.

But he was not a happy chappy.

He hobbled over to the she-cat with his eyes ablaze. He didn't bother checking if she was alright as of yet. She needed a good talking-down-to first.
"Just what the hell did you think you were doing?" He snapped, rearing over her, livid with anger, "Goddammit, y'damn kit-- grhmm, do you even realise how dangerous that was?! Ghrmm! You could've--" He stuttered, "--died, y'stupid she-cat-- you could've hit your head and died! Are you thick-- grhmm, in the head?! Are you damn fuc--" He tried to swallow the swearword, "--stupid?!"

--> Doestep held tight to her savior, her blue eyes closed in terror. She was so relieved when she felt solid ground beneath her. As the tom grabbed her scruff and threw her against the ground and she rolled into the grass due to how easily he could throw her. She didn't mind, though, even if her side throbbed and she had trouble sitting up. She was alive, and knowing that was good enough for her.

Little did she know, her terror from earlier would be dwarfed by what was about to happen. As she turned to thank the tom, he was already looming over her, fury blazing in his eyes and his booming voice ringing through the air. She crouched, looking up at him through terrified blue eyes, round as the moon. Her ears were flat and her fur stood on end. Her mind whirled with panic as the tom's livid voice sliced through her worse than claws. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" the little she-cat whimpered, trembling with fear.
