Description
After Mohawk’s unexpected departure from their group, which Yuaei believes to be fueled by his desire to avenge their mother, Yuaei decides that she needs to catch up to him, believing that only together can they right the wrongs from years ago.Unwilling to drag the rest of their family into such a dangerous situation, Yuaei does not disclose her exact intentions, but explains to the group that she and Mohawk have unfinished business that they must tend to alone.
They would return to their group when the deed is done. This was not goodbye.
And so she left, racing in the wake of her brother, grappling with the one other thing she did not disclose to her companions. The hurt she felt that he left her behind. She didn’t think he would leave her for this. But she was wrong. My brother, my only brother. We are more one than two. He doesn't see that.
But that was okay. Because she saw it. And she would never stop being there for him. Not today, not tomorrow, not until the Ades themselves called her home.

Yuaei’s retirement! Thanks so much to everyone who had made this girl’s story so fun. And just in general, everyone past and present who has done stuff with me ever in the group. DotW was a huge part of my life for years and I’ll never forget the fun and friends it brought to my life.

This is so lovely... Your girl is SO DANG PRETTY as usual, and it's so great to see everyone together... They all look wonderful in your style, and you've done an awesome job capturing this emotional moment in all their expressions. Thanks for including Silas; I'm honestly just so glad his and Yuaei's paths crossed for a while.

Aahh, it's so sad to see Yuaei go ;; I've been following Mohawk and hers' story ever since their mother was killed, and boy has it ever been a roller coaster for them. I hope they get to accomplish what they set out to do <3

Thanks Tazi, dotw has done so much for my art and writing. Sometimes Im stunned at the sheer magnitude of work/time Ive put in over the years between all my rps and pictures just wow hahaha but it gave me a lot of joy, and better skills that I use in the real world quite a bit, so I think it was all worthwhile. And our friendship is one of the best things that came from dotw for me
