Kurtis needs to make a comeback. Crystal Dynamics should kill off that lame Samantha character and use him instead.

Indeed he does! I don't like how they presented Samantha in the game. They make her seem the most important in the game, but they never gave us much backstory. Ending in a very boring character D:
Then you look at Kurtis, his personality, voice, powers, backstory. It's all wasted!!! For what? S: Kurtis had so much potential....

The problem with the new TR is that there are many characters you're clearly supposed to care about, but it's done so badly you end up not giving a shit. Samantha is basically just Princess Peach you're trying to save only to see her being kidnapped again and again. All that's missing is Toad going "Sorry, Lara. Your princess is in another castle."
Imho they should've used Kurtis instead. I imagine him being a grumpier version of Nathan Drake. That would make for some interesting chemistry between him and Lara.

loool so true!! "princess peach". Funny enough I felt bad when I saved Samantha, it's just become a too boring concept "saving the princess". It doesn't fit the Tomb Raider universe, it's always been about Lara, and how strong she is!
I love how Kurtis has a personality where he doesn't seem to say much. But still manage to be a deeper character than many of the new TR characters.
Imagine Kurtis and Drake meeting, I think Drake would call Kurtis an emo or something like that. Kurtis just has this cloud of emoness on top of his head! DX
