Tertiaries are the children of humans who have, at one time been intimate with Felyans. Their DNA is slightly rewritten from this encounter, and even though they may choose another human as a permanent mate, their children are born with psychic abilities more powerful than even human/Felyan hybrid children. These children are usually taken by the Vlissians and trained, but one escaped. She now moves from planet to planet doling out her services to the underworld or anyone who can pay her enough.
