In the Fairytale Origins au, Zero is the first friend Ellie made. He had the power to make illusions and he uses it to steal money from people. He calls himself Zero because he had zero responsibilities, zero duties, zero troubles and zero problems. (That’s pretty much how he says it.) After he found Ellie, he felt bad for her and promised to help her find her way. Along the way of their journey, he somehow developed feelings for her and he feared it may ruin his street cat life.
