This is my friends beagle, Bailey. (what a cliche name for a beagle, I know.) She is such a cute little thing. She is six months old.This was edited in Lightroom 2. I added some more contrast, fill light, saturation and a slight vignette. I hope you like it.
She's chewing on a little twig, not the deck.

Adorable beagle. I'd suggest not framing the photo so close to the side of the dog, either leave a bit more room, or cut it right off. When you have the edge of a frame near the edge of a subject it causes tension which is not wanted in a lot of photos.

That's how I took the picture. If I moved any bit farther away she would have jumped on me. But thank you for the suggestion, I'll take it into consideration in my future photos.
