In order for this image to be used as a wallpaper in either the main Ubuntu distribution or even user-made themes, it needs a license the users can adhere to.
I may have missed it, but I haven't seen it anywhere? Which are the use terms for the license?
Apart from that, the picture is very nice -- and so are the mockups.

This is excellent. Using the "Ubuntu brown" in a way that makes sense.

I quite like it, exept for one thing; in the middle it seems to be mirrrored which makes it look less real.

I think that's actually how it's supposed to be. This looks like a photoshopped picture of a wooden floor, and that might be the artificial snap-in wood, which tends to mirror itself.
